Baines Surrey Artist of the year competitionAn event sponsored by the Baines-Davis Charitable Trust.During the competition period from 12th September to 3rd October 2009, the work of the thirteen short listed artists will be exhibited at the NEW ASHGATE GALLERY in Farnham, Surrey The exhibition will be located in the Balcony Room gallery space and there will be an opportunity for visitors to vote for their favourite artist up to 30th September.In addition to the public vote there will be input from a panel of judges and the presentation to the winner of the competition will take place on Thursday 1st October, at the gallery, from 6-7pm.The New Ashgate GalleryWagon YardFarnhamSurreyGU9 7PSTelephone: +44 (0)1252713208The gallery is a five-minute walk from Farnham Train Station and there is a public car park near by.Click here for a link to the Ashgate Gallery for further information including a list of participating artists
