FREE RANGEThis exhibition held in October 2009 attracted a large number of visitors to the ShedArt studios and gallery in Newdigate. The exhibition was part of the Arts Alive initiative supported by Mole Valley Council. As indicated by the title, this was an exhibition of free ranging contemporary art with perhaps a symbolic refence to our studios former existence as a chicken farm.A festive atmosphere was assured with live music provided by D'Arcy. For those unable to get to the show but who would like to see some work. You are welcome to visit the ShedArt studio at other times, where there is always new work in progress.Please call us on 07851 741395 to make an appointment.WISE OLD OWL Kingsfold, SurreyWe were asked to extend our exhibition at the Wise Old Owl, to include the newly refurbished restaurant area. We opened our exhibition back in November 2006 and it is changed every four months.JOLLY FARMER Nr Reigate, SurreyWe have a continuous exhibition at the Jolly Farmer, near Dorking. This is a gastropub, with a good restaurant. It also has an interesting delicatessen which stocks local foods. It is an exciting place to hang our work, as it is an old building with large fire places and old beams. The Jolly Farmer is situated on the A25 at Buckland , about 1 mile from Reigate. The exhibition is changed every four months. SURREY LIFEShedart featured in the May/June 2008 edition of Surrey Life magazine in the article about the Open Studios exhibitions.SURREY ARTISTS OPEN STUDIOS - 2010Many Surrey artists will open their studios to the public for various days during a two-week period in June 2010. During this year's event ShedArt studios had around 600 visitors who were attracted by a diversity of art. For us it is a great opportunity to chat about our latest ideas and to show some of the work in progress. As in previous years, there will be a FREE brochure giving names addresses and opening times for all the exhibiting artists. Details will be available early next year.
