Stella Mance
A lot of Stella's inspiration comes from natural forms, particularly flowers. She finds their colour and form sensual and exciting, and she feels that they work well on a large scale. Her latest work is done on paper using collage, tissue and vibrant coloured liquid acrylic.
Judy Staight
Judy is interested in the human figure and the rich variety of its form and movement. She loves to work with charcoal, as it is capable of such beautiful and expressive marks. Its brittle dryness suits her physical approach to drawing as she feels the need for its sharpness and resistance.
Babs Strickly
Babs is intensly involved in colour. Colour permeates her life, her work and her perception of the world around her. Her vibrant use of colour stems from strongly experienced emotions. She works in both oil and acrylic mediums.
Moira Latham
Moira feels that abstract colouration is an exciting exploration where miraculously unpredictable transformations of colour occur. A transformation from light and darkness, shadows, fading and re-emerging images where the overlapping of colours are visible yet untouchable bringing depth and a sense of silence as one explores the surface. What is seen is not always what is. What one imagines and passes on is not always the truth. Expression in visual forms of shades of colour springs from an inner search after spiritual reality.
